Batesville Speedway will have the Race for the Ranches. The entire night’s admission fee will go to the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches, Inc., a home for the abused and abandoned children.
According to Mooney Starr of Batesville, the gate opens at 5:30 with the race starting at 8:00. Admission is $10 for adults and children 11 and under are free. The Batesville Speedway is located at 5090 Heber Springs Road.
The Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches are licensed child care facilities which provide homes for abused, abandoned and neglected children from all over the state.
