The Clinton Area Rotary Club proudly presents the Bull Ride Spectacular. The Bull Ride Spectacular this year is the CBR Horizon Series. The Bull Ride has been raising money for local scholarships for over 20 years. The Bull Ride will be on Saturday, August 28th beginning at 8:00 p.m. at the Rotary Rodeo Arena located behind the Clinton Middle School. Tickets are $10.00 at the gate and $8.00 in advance. Tickets can be purchased at local banks in the Clinton area. This event attracts top bull riders that compete for prize money, the thrill of the ride and to entertain the crowd. Judging is based on the performance of the Brahman bull as well as that of the rider. The rider must first stay on the bull for eight seconds and is disqualified if he touches the animal or its rigging with his free hand. Bull Riding is wild and it’s western. The bull riding action in this event will bring out the cowboy in each of us and is sure to excite and entertain everyone. Area sponsors this year are First Service Bank and Ozark Health Medical Center. Many organizations and businesses are supporting this event through contributions and advertising. The goal is to raise money for educational scholarships for our local children and youth.
