DESCRIPTION:Main Street Batesville will once again be hosting the haunted house “The River Haunt”. The organization challenges everyone to survive the 10\,000 plus square feet of twisted terror! The River Haunt opens the gate to all prey Oct 1-2\, 8-9\, 15-16\, 22-23\, 29-30\, and Halloween Night at 7 p.m. on the banks of White River\, at 570 Stadium Drive in Batesville\, Ark. Tickets at the door are $12 per head or $17 per head for Skip-the-Line passes. Reservations may be made online at mainstreetbatesville.org. This year’s haunted house is presented by Merchants & Planters Bank. \nCovid precautions include mask requirements for patrons and haunters\, hand sanitizing\, sanitizing of the haunt before opening and between weekends\, and disinfecting between groups. \nThe River Haunt team has spent the last 10 months preparing for guests and completely changing every room. DESCRIPTION:October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. On October 02\, 2021\, Family Violence Prevention Inc. (FVP) will be hosting a fundraising event\, Karaoke for a Cause\, at The Loft on Main. FVP is seeking sponsors for this evening of song\, laughter\, and community. Funds raised from this evening will be used to further the mission of FVP.  \nFVP assists individuals and families experiencing domestic abuse and sexual assault by providing crisis intervention and a full range of support services. We also work to empower the community to understand and prevent domestic abuse and sexual assault crimes.

SUMMARY:Willie Stone Cup 2021 Cleburne Cty 18 & Under Fishing Tournament
DESCRIPTION:The Tournament is October 2\, 2021 with boat blast-off at 6:00 a.m. all boats in at 3:00 p.m. This event is for kids only\, 18 yrs old and under. The 3 teams with the highest legal weigh-in will each win a Scholarship and a trophy award with the First place winners also getting their name placed on the base of The Willie Stone Cup. Teams consist of 2 anglers and 1 boat captain. Anglers must be age 18 or under\, at least 1 team member must live in Cleburne County or adjacent county and all must be registered by 10:00 p.m. October 1\, 2021. Entry fee is $50.00 per Team and may be paid online or can pay starting at 5:30 a.m. on tournament day. All rules must be followed to be eligible. Rules can be read and teams must Register for Tournament online at www.cleburnecounty18underfishingchampionship.com. All information is on the website. If anyone has questions they may call 501-250-5350. Starting at 3:00 p.m. we encourage our Sponsors and visitors to come by during weigh-in\, hear the Guest Speaker\, enjoy some good Food and cheer on the kids as many Prizes will be awarded!
