DESCRIPTION:Save the date for the 5th annual ARTOBERFEST\, Saturday\, October 23\, 2–7 p.m. on Main Street in the historic downtown Batesville. This FREE festival hosted by the Batesville Area Arts Council (BAAC) will feature live music\, artist booths\, a sidewalk chalk art contest\, and other family fun activities! If you are interested in being a vendor at the festival\, please visit batesvilleareaartscouncil.org\, or call 870-793-3382 for more info! \nTo help promote Artoberfest this year\, we are hosting a coloring contest! The contest is free and open to all ages. You can pick up a coloring sheet at the BAAC Gallery on Main\, Independence County Library\, Big’s\, and Clara Jane & Jax\, or print one out at home by visiting the Artoberfest page on our website. The deadline to turn in the completed page is October 9. Visit the BAAC Facebook page October 18 – 22 to help select the winner!
