DESCRIPTION:A ribbon cutting ceremony was held\, Friday\, October 18\, 2019\, for Grandhands.  Grandhands is a non-profit organization that strives to lessen burdens placed on adults in Independence County who are raising their grandchildren. They provide financial assistance to help cover part of or all of the fees related to educational activities for children in the care of their grandparents. Their purpose is to allow the children the opportunity to engage in educational experiences and opportunities for them to develop interpersonal skills.
