Fire on the Mountain ASU-Heber Springs Sept 1

ASU-Heber Springs would like to extend an invitation to the Business Community to join us in the First Annual “Fire on the Mountain” celebration, an event designed to recognize and encourage our college students as they begin/continue their academic pursuits.

The food, fun and games will begin at 4:30 with activities such as face painting, bean-bag toss, cookie walks and many more.  All events will be free of charge to students with one exception.  A dunking booth will feature several famous (and dedicated) members of the ASU Staff.  For a mere $1 donation, participants will have a chance to try to successfully soak these brave instructors and administrators.  All proceeds from the dunking booth will go to local charities.

At 5:30, there will be a special “passing of the torch” ceremony during which ASU-HS students will signify their becoming part of a great tradition – that of enriching themselves and their community by obtaining a college degree.

Admission is free and open to the community.  Radio station KFFB will be broadcasting live during the event and we encourage everyone to come out and help us get this new school year off to a great start.

Your business is welcome to participate in this event.  For more information contact Erica Killion, in the ASU-Heber Springs Admissions Office at 501-362-1100 or by email at elkillion@hebersprings.asub.edu.
