First Electric Cooperative power outage update May 2 (8:30 pm)

First Electric Cooperative has approximately 3802 power outages at this time in the following areas:

Cleburne County
Brownsville, Edgemont, Pearson & Drasco areas – 3333 outages
Many poles are down
One transmission line structure damaged
One substation damaged
Estimated restoration will be late Saturday
Lonoke County
Keo area – 468 outages
Numerous poles down
Estimated restoration will be late tonight
Grant County
Tull area – All power has been restored

First Electric Cooperative encourages everyone to treat all downed power lines and poles as if they are energized and to notify the utility company and local law enforcement officials as soon as possible. First Electric Cooperative Members can report power outages by calling toll-free to 1-888-827-3322.
