First Electric Cooperative power outage update May 3 (3:30 pm)

First Electric Cooperative has approximately 1317 power outages at this time in the following areas:

  • Cleburne County
    • Brownsville, Pearson & Drasco areas – 1075 outages
      • Many poles are down
      • One transmission line structure damaged 
      • One substation damaged
      • Estimated restoration will be late tonight
  • Lonoke County
    • Keo area – 242 outages
      • Numerous poles down
      • Estimated restoration will be late tonight

First Electric Cooperative encourages everyone to treat all downed power lines and poles as if they are energized and to notify the utility company and local law enforcement officials as soon as possible.  First Electric Cooperative Members can report power outages by calling toll-free to 1-888-827-3322.
