On Monday, May 2, 2016, Frank Wing passed away at a hospice facility in Memphis. Frank was a member of KFFB’s sales family and will be dearly missed and as his wife Demaris has said, “Frank loved people”. Bob Connell, the owner of KFFB, said, “Frank was always ready to help and serve family, friends and his community and I’m glad I was able to work with him throughout the years.”
Frank with his friend Ron Willis were recipients of the Von Dean Jefferies Volunteer Award from the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce in March. Frank also worked at the U.S. Forest Service and was a former Blanchard Springs Cavern tour guide for many years.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
