Title: Kids Outdoors Fishing Rodeo

Time: Sign up 8:00-9:00am, Events 9:00-11:00am
Location: Meadows Technology Park pond (1.6 miles down Sturgis road on Executive Center Boulevard)
For the kids fishing rodeo, kids will fish in three age groups for prizes:
0 to 7, 8-12, 13-15,
The most fish caught wins. One pole for each kid, parents may help but kid has to set hook and reel in the fish. Kids need to bring their own pole and bait.
ALL KIDS THAT FISH WILL RECEIVE A PRIZE
One kid will be chosen by ticket drawing to receive a free entry into the 2011 Adult fishing tournament for a chance to win thousands of dollars at the nearest tournament to their location. The requirement is that the child must have an adult that will take them in a boat on competition day.
NATIONAL CHAMPION INFORMATION: Each kid aged 10-15 that fishes the kids fishing rodeo will be entered into drawing for the 2010 National Championship with a chance to become the 2010 Bass Pro Shops Crappie Masters junior champion. Restrictions may apply.
Eight kids will be chosen at the end of the season for this competition. Those eight kids will fish with the top eight teams from the National Championship on October 10 for the title and a $5,000.00 scholarship to be paid when the child enters college.
