The Ozarka College Foundation Board hosted its annual Fulton County Golf tournament on Saturday, Sept. 21 at the
Cherokee Village South Course. The event, originally set for June 1, was rescheduled due to inclement weather.
The tournament had 18 teams and all proceeds benefitted the JoKay Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund.
“JoKay was such a special lady to the Foundation Board and I am so pleased we were able to honor her in this way,” said Suellen Davidson, director of advancement. “Education was her passion, and now her legacy can live on at Ozarka College through this new scholarship.”
Smith was an Ozarka College Foundation Board member who represented Fulton County. She passed away suddenly in 2011.
