Description: Rolling Thunder®, Inc., Chapter 1, Arkansas and Viet Nam Veterans MC will host the annual “feed the vets” on Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Ft. Roots, NLR
Food will be served to the Veterans at 2:00 pm in the Courtyard of the Eugene J. Towbin Healthcare Center, 2200 Fort Roots Drive, North Little Rock, AR 72114, (Fort Roots VA Medical Facility).
Join us, on the Sunday before Veteran’s Day, to thank, to entertain, and to honor those who have served. We honor them with a picnic lunch, with bingo and with homemade desserts.
Food for the main course will be provided by Rolling Thunder and Viet Nam Vets. Guests, who wish, can bring sugar free desserts, hats, shirts or other gifts to serve as Bingo Prizes; or, simply come with a desire to spend the afternoon with our Veterans.
There are numerous Veterans from all over the State of Arkansas including this area who utilize the VA system including Ft. Roots as do members of Rolling Thunder and Viet Nam Vets MC. Any Riders who want to participate will stage between 12:00 noon and 12:50 p.m. at Pike Plaza, NLR. KSU at 1:00 pm to go up the hill and visit our Veterans.
