Description: The third annual “Tri-the-Lake” triathlon will take place on October 10, 2010. The participants will swim 500 yards at Sandy Beach, bike 13 miles on 110 to 107 almost to Hwy 25 and back to Sandy Beach, the last leg is a 3.4 mile run down Front Street around Weddingford and Lakeshore finishing at Sandy Beach. Although this is taking place mostly at Sandy Beach it is a fundraiser that is put on by Downtown Heber Springs to continue to maintain and improve our Historic Downtown District.
