Annual Chamber Meeting set for November 24, 2008
SEARCY, AR – NOVEMBER 13, 2008 – The Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its annual chamber banquet on November 24 at 7:00 p.m. at Harding University’s Heritage Building.
The Searcy Regional Chamber will introduce its new officers for 2009 which are Jim House, Chairman; Don Harlan, Vice Chairman, and; David Wood, Treasurer. Outgoing Chairman Letain DeVore will also be honored.
Awards will be presented to the Woman Business Owner of the Year, Medical Professional of the Year and Humanitarian of the Year.
The guest speaker this year is Tom Price, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Chesapeake Energy. He will make remarks regarding the growth of the natural gas industry in White County and what the future may hold for it locally and globally.
Price, who has been with Chesapeake since 1992, oversees Government and Political Affairs, Community Affairs, Media and Public Relations and other disciplines that help Chesapeake to build relationships and achieve business objectives.
Tickets to the 62nd Annual Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce Banquet are available for $20 each and can be purchased at the chamber office at 2323 South Main or by calling (501)268-2458. Ticket will not be available after November 20.
