U. A. C. C. B. Dedication of Nursing Building Oct 28

The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville will host a dedication and open house for its new Nursing and Allied Health Building at Noon on October 28, 2011.  The public is invited to attend this event.            The NAH building is the first two-story building on the UACCB campus. It includes seven classrooms, a 200 seat lecture hall, four clinical labs, conference meeting room, and faculty offices.  Cost for this facility was $4.917 million.  Contractor for the project was, Crossland Construction Company, Inc., of Rogers, and the architect was Fennell Purifoy of Little Rock.             The dedication will take place at the conclusion of the Arkansas Department of Higher Education Coordinating Board meeting that UACCB is hosting on October 27 and 28.  Board members and higher education administrators and professionals from across the State of Arkansas will be in Batesville for this meeting.
