Riverside Park at Batesville Arkansas will host the third annual Unity Festival. This one day event will be packed with Christian entertainment with no charge to attend! The day will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Christian music throughout the day and between bands there will be special giveaways along with a fun pie auction that will take place at 4:00 p.m. Local elected officials will be drawing tickets for special giveaways such as gas cards and gift cards. The officials will be Batesville Mayor Rick Elumbaugh, Independence County Sheriff Keith Bowers, Independence County Judge Bill Hicks, State Representative David Wyatt, Senator Jack Critcher and Congressman Marion Berry. Unity Fest will offer good clean fun for the entire family with a special kid’s corner to keep the young ones entertained. A catfish dinner will take place at 5:00 p.m. right on the banks of the beautiful White River. Advance tickets for the catfish dinners are $10 for adults and $5 for children with all proceeds going to John 3:16 Ministries, a spiritual boot camp for men with addictions.
